Created to be creative by a Creator

The Creator paints a picture in the sky in my own backyard

The creative seed that the Creator places within all of us has started to grow within me. I find myself yearning to create. The knock on effect is that my boys also want to create. It has been an amazing few weeks as we all journey together, exploring our creative side.

 Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, 

   or, whine, Israel, saying,

"God has lost track of me. 

   He doesn't care what happens to me"?

Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening?

God doesn't come and go. God lasts. 

   He's Creator of all you can see or imagine.

He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath. 

   And he knows everything, inside and out. {Is40}

Gift for my friend's birthday

God, Creator of the heavens— 

   he is, remember, God.

Maker of earth— 

   he put it on its foundations, built it from scratch.

He didn't go to all that trouble 

   to just leave it empty, nothing in it. He made it to be lived in. {Is45}

Don't lie to one another. You're done with that old life. It's like a filthy set of ill-fitting clothes you've stripped off and put in the fire. Now you're dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label on it. All the old fashions are now obsolete.{Col3}

In other news....
Next week I am going to my first Colour conference.

[ONE LOVE, ONE HEART, ONE SISTERHOOD frames The Colour Conference, the Colour Sisterhood and a rising movement of women across the earth, who have a devotion, love and commitment to be the change in their local and global communities.]

Four days of girl time. It's the longest I have ever been away from my boys. I am so looking forward to it. I am anticipating that I will come back refreshed, energised and challenged.

If you are going to Colour, look out for me among the 12, 000+ women who will gather for the Sisterhood.
