What my children taught me this week

I think that I have learned so much more than the Boy Warriors have from homeschooling. Here are just some of the things they have taught me this week.

~Leader Boy Warrior dancing with his cousin.~

"Mum you can't complain tonight that Dad is home late as he'll be home early to pick up your car from the mechanics."

14 Do everything without complaining or arguing.15 Then you will be innocent and without any wrong. You will be God's children without fault. But you are living with crooked and mean people all around you, among whom you shine like stars in the dark world. (Philippians 2:14-15, New Century Version)

~Courageous Boy Warrior at Uncle's engagement party~

"Mum, Cassie (Children's Church Leader) said that sometimes the Devil puts thoughts in your head to do wrong things when you should be doing right. One time Dad told me to do something and I thought, "No! I don't want to do that." and then I remembered what Cassie said, so I did what he told me to do."

Ephesians 6:1 (New International Version): Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

~Cookie Boy Warrior holding onto a balloon at dress up party~

"Mum, I reading. "Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me." (Pretending to read a book.)

Matthew 18:4 (New International Version) Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Still taking lessons from the King,
